Scandinavian Living No. 2 – CASE STUDY
Scandinavian Living issue number two marked the culmination of both the Copenhagen Living and Scandinavian Living magazines, reflecting the visual sophistication developed over the eight issues produced before its conclusion.

For the first time, the second issue of Scandinavian Living was released with two different covers, each featuring an image from one of the magazine’s two fashion editorials, both dedicated to Danish fashion.

“My aim was to create a publication that transcended its role as a magazine, evolving into a cultural artifact and a testament to Scandinavian design. With this final issue, I feel that vision was fully realized. The magazine’s visual narrative flows seamlessly, while its aesthetic storytelling captures a uniquely Nordic character.”

“In recent years, Nordic culture has risen to prominence – from Netflix’s Nordic cuisine features to Moomin collabs with Uniqlo and Scandinavian fashion spreads in Vogue. However, launching a trailblazing magazine that explored the Nordic spirit at the turn of the millennium was a bold challenge. Much had to be discovered, reimagined, or even invented – a process that became one of the most rewarding creative challenges.”
