Lines of Grace

“Omega’s advertising archive holds a distinguished collection of work by renowned figures, including the iconic Italian fashion illustrator René Gruau. To mark the 2010 launch of the Ladymatic, I collaborated with illustrator David Downton, whose deep admiration for Gruau’s work shaped the direction of the project.”

The resulting editorial for Omega Lifetime magazine pays homage to Gruau’s influence and Omega’s legacy, drawing inspiration from the elegance of his original Omega advertisements from the late 1940s, while reflecting the timeless appeal of the Ladymatic.
