Bjørn Nørgaard
“Of all the visual artists I’ve had the chance to collaborate with on book projects, working on the autobiography of Danish artist, sculptor, and professor Bjørn Nørgaard stands out as one of the most intriguing.”

“The initial concept was to feature images from Bjørn’s personal archive throughout the book. However, after seeing the possibilities with the images on my computer, Bjørn joined me in the studio to create small artworks based on his images. The result was a book filled with self-referential art pieces, printed in four spot colours at the start of each chapter.”

“While designing the book like a conventional biography, I used one of the spot colours – brown – to highlight the sections written by Bjørn, while the interview portions were printed in black. The dust jacket is printed on thick uncoated paper with embossed text in bronze, offering a refined and tactile finish.”
