“In 2009, Danish chef Nikolaj Kirk approached me with a new concept: a compact cookbook (15.5 × 20.5 cm), 272 pages printed on recycled paper. The idea was to present updated recipes for everyday meals in a format that was both affordable and widely accessible. Thus, Mad til Folket (Food for the People) was born.”

The bold yellow cover features Nikolaj in a pose reminiscent of vintage propaganda posters, and the playful typography throughout underscores its manifesto-like spirit in a modern style.”
